About
Words for the moment you pick up the pen
GreetingBirds helps you write the message inside the card: birthdays, holidays, thank-yous, congratulations, love notes and the harder ones too. Each page gives you ready-to-use lines, a sense of which tone suits which relationship, and enough guidance to write your own.
Written for a real card
Every page starts from a situation someone is actually in: a coworker's birthday card going around the office, a sympathy note to a neighbor, a first Christmas card to in-laws. Messages are grouped by that situation and tone, so you can find a line that fits instead of scrolling a wall of near-identical wishes.
Original messages, sourced quotes
The wishes and messages on GreetingBirds are written by our editors. When a page quotes a real person, we name the source and check the wording against a reliable reference; if we can't verify a line, we leave it out. We use AI tools while drafting, and an editor reviews every page before it is published.
Kept up to date
Seasonal pages are reviewed before each season, dates are checked for the coming year, and pages that no longer help anyone are merged or removed rather than left to go stale.
